imagine a world, where everyone has smiles on their faces, genuine, happy faces. Strangers smile at each other, everyone's happy, stress free, coz every smile you receive takes off a gram of weight off your shoulders. it works wonders, a smile, don't underestimate it.
Try smiling now, doesn't it make you feel better?
Try smiling at someone, don't you feel good when u see the person's face light up?
Try looking at a smile, photos, mirror etc, don't you feel that the world is a happy place?
A smile, yes, just a simple contraction and relaxation of some muscles, but the power is limitless. Which brings me to the law of the conservation of the smile.
A smile can be created, but not destroyed. It can be transfered and multiplied from one body to another, and 一传十，十传百，the effects of a smile can be measured by 10 to the power of n, where n is infinity.
Who says a person cannot impact the world? everyone, whether a small child, an old lady, a smoking man, can improve lives. Look at the world it is today. On the train, if u see strangers, first reaction= give a rude and unhappy stare. by doing so, the effects can be as great as a smile, in a negative way. Instead of spreading unhappiness, and adding on to the sadness in the world, why not smile at any random stanger? You brighten up that person's day, and the smile will spread, and the world will be that slight bit happier, a better home, for me and you.
However, what defines proper smile is a genuine smile, that comes from the bottom of the heart a person. That is what packs the punch. It isn't hard, so why are people avoiding it? Because currently, there is too much unhappiness circulating around the world. Just like a smile, a frown spreads easily, if not easier.
So why not brighten up the lives of those around you, instead of dulling them, contirbute to the overall happiness level in the world, so that one day, happiness can equate unhappiness, and then overthrow it, and then make it negligible.
