GREAT JOB FOR CNY! I agree with Jia wei, that our deco is still the best(: haha!

Anyway, our next 'proj' is share-a thought so let's give it our best shot!
Claudia wouldn't mind writing the script for us but before starting the script, we need ideas.
Our topic is Graciousness. does it bring anything to mind?
If you have any ideas, no matter how crazy u might think it is, just tag on the tag board or let claudia know directly. oh! n those who oso want to write the script or wouldn't mind doing so, just help out too!

If possible, we need to start rehearsing after CNY cuz our performance date is 18th Feb not exactly alot of time left...so we might need to rehearse say twice a week perhaps? N we still need to get the props ready etc...so while celebrating CNY, think of ideas k?

oh, n the b'day thingy. Do you guys think it'll be ok if we celebrate those who r born on the particular month together? like next month right, we can celebrate for all the feb babies on 1 day and get a big cake for them to cut. So, how about on the first of every month?Lavisha can get the cakes and knife( to cut cake)...so any volunteers to bring tissues/plates/candles/lighters? lemme know too!

Please excuse this "announcement", sorry for taking up the space for personal use...

I would really, really appreciate it if you all could check if you've, by any chance, taken my white Sharp calculator by mistake - just realised I lost it last night and last remember using it during Physics SPA on Monday. It says in black permanent marker on the back: "Claudia Wong 1G2 Crescent Girls' School".

If you do find it, please return it to me when school reopens..

oh and, congratulations to everyone for doing such a great job for cny deco!! although we didn't manage to win, we still got gotchas from mr keong right? and class spirit! that's what matters:D and i still think our deco is the nicest coz it's not too overdone like some class:) so give urselves a pat on your back for all your contributions!!:)

How is bio class? haha. Anyway, I was working on possible designs for the class tee, I've come up with 3 so far. Are you okay with these?

Any other ideas would really help too. Oh and if you want like a design with a different colour scheme, extra graphics, etc, vote for the design you want and post a comment in the tagbox.
For the back of the tee, if we put everyones names there, would that be okay?
Can anyone think of a tagline?

Physics spa on monday!! bring transparent long ruler, calculator and other stationaries! and remember to print and do the physics worksheet!

by the way, i just come up with an idea. how about the subject reps update hte blog on homework and all that? or let's have a homework list that subject reps will update everyday? tag to comment..

1. HCL-- newspaper article , workbook, and exercises after each chpt
2. A math--2.2 & 2.3
3. Elective lit-- fill up the lit devices list
4. Pure geog-- finish up the geog worksheet
5. Physics-- theory wb pg 1-8, practical book pg 2-7
6. English presentation

that should be about it! i hope...if i didn't forget anything...

please remember to bring cny decorations on monday! and stay back on monday and tuesday to decorate the class:)

Chinese new year is coming to town!

This is a reminder from your noticeboard ic:

groupings

• Notice board- vanitha (i/c) with jia xi, rosemund, sarah swee, anabelle, jia ling.
• Painting of the cows - andrea, jing wen, zi yu, jeslyn, sarah bennett, tanaya
• the fish thing - ethel, lavisha, ai ling, claudia
• Lanterns - yan yee, jia wei

EVERYONE PLEASE BRING:

• ANG POW!! (no need money inside:P) -- can get free from places like, NTUC, banks etc
• Any other chi new year deco (e.g. chinese knots, paper cutting, dui4 lian3, calligraphy etc
• blue tack, tape, scissors, stapler etc
• try and find for any shower curtain (for our changing room:D)

Order of events:

• tomorrow Friday- all to try and bring as much stuff as possible, start planning
• over the weekends -everyone try and source out as much nice cny deco as possible!:)
• monday- deco can start putting up, early in the morning/ after school
• tuesday - EVERYONE WITHOUT CCA CAN PLEASE STAY BACK FOR ABT AN HOUR TO DECORATE??:)
• wednesday- final touches, judging

haha, that's about it i guess. so yea, try ur best to bring whatever u can k? HAHA, eg non chinese ppl might not have any need for ang pow given free, so bring k? if u dun have any stuff u htink u can contribute, maybe bring a few scissors, bluetack stapler etc?
